Never be afraid to tell your story in your own words
Do you need help with:
As your counsellor and therapist I do my best to offer you a safe and non judgemental space to tell your story.
Counselling and therapy is different to speaking to friends or family because there are things you will not want to share with family and friends.
You don’t have to suffer from mental health symptoms to be looking for therapy. At times, you need a place to talk, to be listened to and to know it will be ok
Time and time again I am asked by prospective clients what my approach is. Yes, counsellors and therapists have varied approaches to help their clients but the most important approach is to ask what the clients needs are? It is not about enforcing an approach that will not work with a client. It is hearing what the client wants from therapy.
I recognise that weekly face-to-face therapy sessions are not always possible for all clients. Therefore, my therapy services are tailored for each client to combine personal meetings with Skype, Zoom and/or phone session and maintain regular contact and to ensure continuity of the counselling journey.
There are many counselling and therapy services out there and it is difficult to go through them in order to find the one suited to you. If you want to speak to me please call or email me to book an initial consultation to discuss and get an idea if you feel I am suited to your needs and whether you feel we can work together.
“Trauma is the invisible force that shapes our lives. It shapes the way we live, the way we love and the way we make sense of the world. It is at the deepest root of our deepest wounds. Unaddressed trauma keeps perpetuating painful patterns in our lives.”
— Gabor Mate
